A Candlelight Farms Wedding with Kim & Pete

Everything about this Candlelight Farms wedding was picturesque and special. From the moment the L&L Team arrived on this August wedding day, I was giddy with excitement taking in the grounds of this gorgeous wedding location. The girls were getting ready in the most perfect farmhouse filled with chaming details, wooden floors with creaky stairs, and tiny hallways everywhere leading to one quaint room after another. Kim and her florist, Rita’s Floral Touch, did such a great job incorporating the rustic feel to the day with the jewel-tone wildflowers with pops of sunflowers which were a nod to Kim’s late grandmother.

Kim & Pete’s first look was KEY to their wedding day and all the beautiful moments we were able to capture. These two met a the gate of the farmhouse for a long hug and it definitely calmed their nerves. It was so cute watching the wedding party peek through the farm windows, trying to catch a glance of this special moment! From there, we captured some portraits with the firetruck that the guys rode in on. Since Pete is a firefighter, this was such a great way to pay tribute to a huge part of his (and their!) lives. Next wedding party and family photos were complete all before their guests arrived for their outdoor ceremony. With the sun perfectly placed behind the trees, the light was PERFECT for their ceremony and even better for a wedding party photo during golden hour.

From lawn games to cocktails and the gorgeous decor, this wedding day was a dream to capture from beginning to end. Thank you so much Kim & Pete for having L&L there to capture these beautiful moments.
