A Larchmont Yacht Club wedding with Courtney & Jacob

What a special wedding this was! On this #TBT, we are going back to this stellar September 2015 wedding at the Larchmont Yacht Club. (I got married here too, so it holds a VERY special place in my heart!) From old traditions such as the groomsmen chanting and carrying Jacob to his bride before the ceremony (see, first looks are not a new thing!) to Courtney’s Dad’s band playing guitar while they said their vows under the chuppah, there was not a dull moment or dry eye in the house!

The decor of blooms from Noreen Enright were simply stunning, but my favorite was the chic bowling pins, (totally the first time I am seeing CHIC bowling pins!) which were a nod to the fact that Courtney & Jake met at a bowling alley – I always love little details like that! But the absolute best part of Courtney & Jacob’s wedding were the emotional roller coasters that all of us were on! Sentimental moments were immediately followed by bursts of laughter, as the entire wedding party clan had the best senses of humor and made the day so much fun! Not only was this a beautiful wedding, but it was quite the party, and we left as guests danced the night away to a really great band. I was so happy to be a part of this wedding day, thanks for having me, C&J and congrats!
