My trip down to Washington DC this past spring to meet up with Cara & Wes was quite the adventure! Due to the fact that we were not EXACTLY sure when the cherry blossoms would be in full bloom, I jumped into my car on a Monday in May and raced down to DC – and by golden hour we were shooting amongst the beautiful cherry blossoms. I had such a great time getting to know Cara & Wes while hiding from the crowds in the monuments and finding secret spots to shoot in. An awesome new friend even volunteered as my assistant and shook the branches to capture the last image below…talk about teamwork! I’m pretty sure that’s why Cara and Wes are giggling incessantly in that capture, but don’t tell anyone! These are some of my favorites ever, so I hope you enjoy them!
