A Tented New York Wedding with Meredith & Chris

To see this upstate New York wedding come together was such a pleasure to witness, and I was incredibly humbled to photograph such a beautiful occasion. The bride, Meredith, and I had gone to Syracuse University together! Years later, we realized we both had become wedding photographers in other states! Meredith was more up to date on my journey, and once I was filled in I was so impressed with her business in Boston. I had such a wonderful time bonding over her vision for her wedding day and all the events that were to unfold. When she mentioned the wedding would take place at her High School, I really could not begin to imagine that she attended the all girls Emma Willard High School, the architecture is to die for! I mean, who had a High School campus like this?! Her mother also worked at the school for forty years, and it’s a very rare event that a wedding could be hosted on their grounds. I knew how important every detail was to Meredith and Chris. Working alongside Keri of Always Yours Events, who did all the design and styling, was the perfect pairing and I love how every detail of M&C’s story turned out. I hope you enjoy!
